STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC COVERED VEGETABLE DISHES, LOT OF TWO, each of octagonal footed form with light blue transfers and narrow lace border decorations, featuring "VIEW from RUGGLES / HOUSE NEWBURGH. / HUDSON RIVER." to base depicting a town overlooking the river with numerous sailboats, cover featuring the charming town of Meredith, NH. Additional marks to underside include impressed Royal Coat of Arms (lion and unicorn) with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co." to shield.
