STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC FIVE-PIECE TEA SET, each featuring light blue transfer patterns with narrow lace border decorations, comprising a teapot having "WILKESBARRE. / VALE of WYOMING.", a covered sugar featuring "PEEKSKILL-LANDING / HUDSON RIVER.", a creamer, a 5 3/4" D waste bowl, and a cup with Crow-Nest from Bull Hill, and a saucer featuring "THE VALLEY OF / SHENANDOAH FROM / JEFFERSONS ROCK." Some having additional impressed marks including the Royal Coat of Arms (lion and unicorn) with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co." to shield, "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA. / RIDGWAY". Cup, saucer, and bowl undamaged, except cup with some glaze wear to rim; creamer with minor chip to rim, two minor flakes to foot edge, and a minor flake to top of handle; sugar with some minute to minor scattered flakes to interior gallery, restoration to flake/chip on rim and cover, minor paint touch-ups to some high points on body, cover with a chip to underside edge, and finial reattached; teapot with hairline to base, a minor flake to spout, and cover with minute flake to underside.
