STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring light blue transfer "Picturesque Views / From Fishkill / Hudson River", as printed to underside, depicting a serene scene depicting figures and cattle overlooking the river valley, having floral, bird, and scroll border decoration. Additional marks to underside include impressed crown mark encircled with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" and a hand-brushed accession number "2003.00.0007". Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 15 1/2" x 12 7/8".
