STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTERS, LOT OF THREE, each featuring light blue transfers with narrow lace border decoration, comprising two examples having "VIEW FROM / PORT PUTNAM. / HUDSON RIVER." and one featuring "PEEKSKILL LANDING / HUDSON RIVER." Additional marks to underside include an impressed Royal Coat of Arms (lion and unicorn) with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co." to shield. William Ridgway, Shelton, Hanley, England. 1830-1854. 9 7/8" x 7 1/4" and 15 1/4" x 10 7/8".

Two undamaged; one Port Putnam example having rim with two chips and a flake with associated hairline. Manufacturing flaws including one Port Putnam having stilt marks to front, as made.
