STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF THREE, each having light blue transfers depicting villages or towns along beautiful mountain and water landscapes with narrow lace border decoration, comprising one example having "HARPERS FERRY / FROM THE / POTOMAC SIDE", one example featuring "CALDWELL / LAKE GEORGE", and a soup plate having "VIEW from RUGGLES / HOUSE. NEWBURGH. / HUDSON RIVER." Additional marks to underside include an impressed Royal Coat of Arms (lion and unicorn) with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co." to shield. Two undamaged; soup plate having restoration to underside rim chip/flake; some having minor light short scattered scratches from use.
