STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC JUG / PITCHER, featuring Erie Canal, View of the Aqueduct Bridge at Little Falls scene to one side and reverse with Entrance of the Erie Canal Into the Hudson at Albany scene, each featuring figures standing in landscape beside the canal, having floral border decoration. Printed "VI / ERIE CANAL" mark to underside. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 7 3/8" HOA.
