STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring "LOUISVILLE", as printed to cartouche on underside, depicting the town on the banks of the Ohio River, which has several boats including a steamer flying an American flag to the stern, part of the Cities Series. Additional marks to underside include "NEFF WANTON & O." printed to ribbon with "LOUISVILLE" below and impressed "12". Circa 1825. 12 5/8" x 9 3/4".
