STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring "Upper Ferry Bridge / over the / River Schuylkill", as printed to underside, depicting an extensive bridge over a river, figures, wagons, and boats in the surrounding landscape, and spread-wing eagle and scroll border decoration. Additional impressed "18" to underside. Joseph Stubbs, Longport, England. 1822-1835. 18 5/8" x 15 3/8".
