STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring light blue transfer "VIEW of the / CAPITOL AT / WASHINGTON.", as printed to underside, depicting the tri-domed structure with figures and carriages in open area in foreground, having narrow lace border decoration. Additional marks to underside include an impressed Royal Coat of Arms (lion and unicorn) with "OPAQUE / GRANITE / CHINA / W.R. & Co." to shield.
