STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, having black transfer featuring "Picturesque Views / Newburg / Hudson River", as printed to underside, depicting a loaded cart pulled by oxen in foreground, a river and town in background. Impressed crown with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" to underside. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 19 3/4" x 16 1/8".
