STAFFORDSHIRE AFRICAN / IRISH VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC SOUP TUREEN AND UNDERTRAY, comprising a tureen featuring "DIX COVE / ON THE GOLD COAST / AFRICA", as printed to underside, depicting a trading port with palm trees and boats filled with figures, and a 14 1/4" x 11" undertray depicting "VIEW OF DUBLIN", as printed below image, depicting several ships on the River Liffey and the neoclassical Custom's House on right, each having irregular shell border decoration. Additional marks to underside include printed "2", otherwise unmarked. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 10 3/4" HOA.
