STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATE, featuring the Highlands at West Point, Hudson River pattern, mislabeled "HIGH LANDS HUDSON RIVER / NEAR NEWBURGH", as printed to underside, depicting various boats on serene water with three figures in foreground, having bold shell border design. Additional marks to underside include a printed American eagle with shield and banner having "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and impressed eagle and shield with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 6 1/2" D.
