STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, having black transfer featuring "Picturesque Views / New York / Hudson River.", as printed to underside, depicting the city skyline across New York Bay from Governors Island with Castle Williams on right. Impressed crown with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" to underside. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 1814-1834. 21 5/8" x 17 3/4".
