STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring "LAKE GEORGE / STATE OF NEW YORK", printed to underside, depicting the Adirondack mountains rising above calm waters dotted with boats and figures in foreground, having bold shell border decoration. Additional marks to underside include printed American eagle and shield with banner having "E PLURIBUS UNUM", an impressed eagle and shield with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA" and "16". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 16 1/2" x 13".
