STAFFORDSHIRE BRITISH VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTERS, LOT OF TWO, each having blue transfer scenes, comprising one featuring "RURAL VILLAGE", a mislabeled example of the Village Church pattern, depicting three sheep in foreground with two figures at fence, cottages and church in background, and one with "KENMOUNT / DUMFRIESSHIRE", as printed to underside, depicting fallow deer in foreground with grapevine border design. Additional marks to underside include impressed eagle and shield encircled with "ENOCH WOOD & SONS / BURSLEM" and "16". Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England; and other. Circa 1825. 16 3/8" x 12 3/8" and 17 1/8" x 13".
