STAFFORDSHIRE NAUTICAL MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATES, LOT OF TWO, comprising one example featuring "SOUTHAMPTON / HAMPSHIRE", and one example depicting "NEAR CALCUTTA", each depicting various sailing vessels on serene water with two figures in foreground, each having irregular shell border motif. Faint impressed eagle and shield mark with "E WOOD & SONS BURSLEM WARRANTED / SEMI CHINA" to underside. Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem, England. 1818-1846. 6 3/8" and 7 1/2" D.
