STAFFORDSHIRE "W. PENNS TREATY" TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF THREE, comprising a black transfer platter featuring "W. PENNS TREATY" #9 depicting two indigenous people trading with two figures in colonial dress, and two plates with brown/sepia transfer scene featuring indigenous and colonial figures, comprising a cup plate having W. Penn's Treaty #8 and a service plate featuring "W. PENNS TREATY" #6. Thomas Godwin, Burslem, England. 1834-1854. Platter 15 1/4" x 12 1/2".

Condition

Platter and cup plate in excellent undamaged condition; large plate having a hairline to well area, primarily visible to underside due to decoration.
