STAFFORDSHIRE NAUTICAL MOTIF TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring a harbour scene with two three-masted frigates on serene water and a number of smaller vessels, having bold shell border decorations, from the so-called Shipping series. Unmarked. Possibly John Rogers & Son, Longport, England. First half 19th century. 13 1/2" x 10".

Undamaged, except having some light short scattered scratches and some scattered glaze wear/loss to rim edge and well rim.
