STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TEA AND TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, each having dark blue transfer scenes, comprising three teapots including one depicting two spaniel-like dogs, one featuring two young shepherds resting with their dogs and sheep in background, and one with motif depicting a floral bouquet in a bowl, a sauce boat having molded foot with shell motif, and one pitcher featuring classical arches with figures and floral border. Unmarked. Ralph Stevenson, Cobridge; Joseph Stubbs, Longport, England; and others. Circa 1825. 6" HOA.

Condition

Floral teapot mostly undamaged, except having some minor flakes to cover interior and glaze flake to upper handle terminal; sauce boat mostly undamaged having a few minor flakes to foot; dog teapot having some radial hairlines to body, primarily visible to interior due to decoration, a cover with a flake, filled in chip, and a broken and glued finial; shepherds teapot with flake to spout, old filled-in rim chip, and cover with reattached finial and painted over flakes to edge; pitcher with rim chip and associated hairline.
