STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CARAMANIAN SERIES CERAMIC SOUP TUREEN, ovoid form with molded dolphin fish head handles and cover with bud form finial, featuring Colossal Sarcophagus Near Castle Rosso pattern to base depicting numerous figures wearing turbans including one entering a tomb, and cover with Colossal Vase Near Limisso in Cyprus scene featuring a man stepping into an enormous vessel. Marks to underside include impressed "Spode" and "S". Spode, Stoke-on-Trent, England. First quarter 19th century. 9 3/4" HOA, 10 3/8" x 8".
