STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CUP PLATES, LOT OF SIX, comprising one featuring Livermere Hall, Suffolk, one with Shirley House, Surrey, one having "CHINESE PAGODA / AND BRIDGE", as printed to underside, having embossed rim, one ironstone example with California pattern, and two Ralph Hall examples including one featuring "BROADLANDS / HAMPSHIRE" and one with Worcester Cathedral. Marks to underside include impressed "RILEY / 8", star, and printed "R. HALLs / SCENERY.", "R. HALLs / SELECT VIEWS / Stone China". Ralph Hall, Tunstall; John & Richard Riley, Burslem; Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem; Wedgwood & Co., Tunstall, England. 19th century. 3 3/4" to 4 1/4" D.

Condition

Four undamaged; California example with faint rim hairline that does not appear to go through to front; Broadlands example having rim hairline with associated minute filled-in chip/flake.
