STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PEPPER POTS AND OPEN SALTS, LOT OF FIVE, comprising two blue transfer pepper pots including one having an outdoor scene with a figure possibly holding a spear with a possible dog, and one having floral vine motif, two pink/red open salts including one with seaweed-style broad band design and one having a floral and scroll motif, and one Toby-form open salt featuring a plump polychrome hand-painted figure holding a mug. First half 19th century. Toby 5" HOA.
Open salts undamaged; figure and dog example having some minute flakes including adjacent to top holes and two to neck flange and a difficult to see hairline to top of foot; floral example having restoration to chip on foot.
