STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED ROMANTIC MOTIF CERAMIC SOUP TUREENS, LOT OF TWO, each having blue transfer scene, comprising one example featuring "ISOLA BELLE", depicting two fountains with a couple and a dog between and classical domed buildings in background, and one example with Canova pattern, featuring two urns with gondola and classical-style buildings in background. Marks to underside include printed woman and lion flanking a garter with "STONE CHINA" and "W. ADAMS & SON" below. Together with a ladle featuring two figures amongst ruins. Three pieces total. William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, England; and other. Mid 19th century. Canova tureen 10 1/4" HOA, 11 5/8" x 9 1/2" rim.
