STAMPED "B. C. MILBURN", ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "1" gallon capacity mark, cylindrical shouldered form with rounded rim, collared neck, and incised shoulder ring. Bright slip-trailed cobalt horizontal tulips encircling shoulder. Benedict Calvert Milburn (1805-1867), Wilkes Street Pottery, Alexandria, VA. 1841-1861. 9 7/8" HOA, 6 1/4" D rim.

Condition
Excellent condition, except having a faint hairline extending from base up side, does not affect resonance.
