STAMPED "J.A.C", JOHN A. CRAVEN, RANDOLPH CO., NORTH CAROLINA JUG, salt-glazed, approximately two-gallon capacity, graceful ovoid form with bold rounded mouth and applied strap handle with thumb-pressed lower terminal. John Anderson Craven (1824-1859), Randolph Co., NC. Circa 1850. 13 3/8" HOA.
