STAMPED "J. MILLER / ALEX", ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, designated one-gallon capacity, ovoid form with rounded rim, incised shoulder ring, applied tab handles, beaded foot. Brushed cobalt foliate design to one side and "1" to reverse, additional cobalt encircling handles. 1824-1826. 9" H, 6 1/4" DOA rim.
