STAMPED "T. & J DUCEY / MANUFACTURERS / PETERSBURG, VA", VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "4" gallon capacity mark, ovoid form with flat-top collared rim, and applied arched handles, iron oxide-glazed interior. Brushed cobalt quintuple bloom flower flanked by vertical feathers to one side, additional cobalt to stamp. Thomas & John Ducey, Petersburg, VA. 1855-1872. 15 1/8" H, 7 7/8" D rim.
