STEPHEN B. SWEENEY, HENRICO CO., VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JUG, salt-glazed, approximately two-gallon capacity, semi-ovoid form with ringed mouth, double incised shoulder ring, and applied strap handle with shallow medial groove and thumb-pressed lower terminal. Brushed cobalt floral design to front, additional cobalt to handle terminals. Stephen B. Sweeney (1799-1862), Bailey's Creek, Henrico Co., VA. 1838-1863. 14" HOA.
