Lee surrounded by small portraits of Washington College faculty members; and a standing image of VMI Cadet Walter Joseph Biggs (1850-1905), Class of 1871, in uniform, inked "W. J. Biggs" to the verso. Each back stamped for Stonewall Art Gallery, Boude & Miley, Lexington, VA. 1867-1868 and 1867-1871. 4" x 2 1/4".
Condition
The composite with heavy tape residue to the upper and lower margins of the front, also one clipped corner; Biggs with a stain to the lower margin and trimmed sides.
