VICTORIAN ENAMEL-DECORATED KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, decorated opal shade with a shaded multi-colored ground with floral decoration, matching opal glass font vase with scrolling brass support arms and topped by a cast-metal spill ring, stamped brass shade ring, leveler, ceiling mount with motor, and smoke bell, matching brass shade crown. Fitted with a period brass drop-in font with a flame spreader marked for E. Miller. Having cut glass prisms. Late 19th/early 20th century. Shade: 6 3/8" H, 14" D fitter.
Good condition overall with many imperfections such as the font tank having denting and some splitting; shade ring having several solder repairs to the backside; glass articles having wear and discoloration; spill ring having a separation at one point; font bucket having heavy overall rusting; other articles having wear and minor denting/bending.
