VICTORIAN JEWELLED HOBNAIL / DEW DROP KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, cranberry umbrella-form shade, colorless swirled glass font fitted into a brass font cup with stamped brass supporting arms, large cast-brass and jewelled lower finial, stamped brass shade ring, leveler, ceiling mount with motor. Fitted with a period slip burner. Having cut glass prisms. Late 19th/early 20th century. Shade: 6 7/8" H, 13 3/4" D fitter.
Very good to excellent condition with the shade being undamaged; lower finial having a point of separation, appears there was an older solder repair that faltered; many metal areas having overall wear and some minor bending and/or denting; prisms having imperfections including some flaking and chipping.
