VICTORIAN JEWELLED KEROSENE HANGING / LIBRARY LAMP, opaque blue umbrella-form shade with a paper label for "DITHRIDGE/MARTIN'S FERRY" to the interior, two brass support arms with a foliate motif and a single jewel to each side, lower single-jewel finial supporting a plain brass font cup, matching stamped brass shade ring, leveler, ceiling mount with motor, and shade crown, floriform brass smoke bell. Fitted with a colorless glass font with a period collar and No. 2 slip burner. Having cut glass prisms. Late 19th/early 20th century. Shade: 6 1/4" H, 14" D fitter.
Virtually undamaged with only minor imperfections such as light wear or some minute denting/bending. Some imperfections to the cut prisms such as flaking.
