VIRGINIA FOLK ART CARVED WALNUT FRAME, vernacular rustic cross style with oversized applied hearts to corners, yellow pine backboard. Retains likely original surface with rich color. Possibly Shenandoah Valley. Circa 1870. 18" x 16" OA.
Provenance: From a Washington, DC area estate.
Frame in very good overall condition with minor wear. Print in fair condition with moderate to heavy toning and discoloration.
