WEST VIRGINIA STENCILED STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each approximately one-gallon capacity, of cylindrical form with slight shoulder, Albany-slip glazed interior, comprising a canner with grooved wax-seal rim and a jar having flat-top rounded rim. Each having stenciled cobalt to front including canner with "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, W. Va." and jar having "DONAGHHO CO / PARKERSBURG". A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV. 1874-1900. 10 1/4" HOA.
Condition
Jar undamaged, except having some scattered spots of staining; canner with some scattered flakes and chips to rim interior.
