WEST VIRGINIA STENCILED STONEWARE CANNERS, LOT OF TWO, salt-glazed, each approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with slight shoulder, grooved wax-seal rim, Albany-slip glazed interior. Stenciled cobalt "A.P. DONAGHHO / Parkersburg," and "W.V." or "W. Va." Circa 1875. 9 5/8" HOA.
Provenance: Property from the estate of Clarence and Coralena Smith, Romney, WV.
One undamaged, except having some staining spots; one having some old gray paint to rim and neck with two minor flakes to rim interior.
