WEST VIRGINIA STENCILED STONEWARE JARS, LOT OF TWO, each approximately one-gallon capacity, comprising a canner with grooved wax-seal rim, having brown-glazed interior and exterior, and a salt-glazed jar with flat-top rounded rim, beaded neck ring, Albany-slip glazed interior. Each stenciled "A.P. Donaghho / Parkersburg, W.V." Circa 1875. Jar 9 3/4" H, 5 7/8" D rim.
Provenance: Property from the estate of Clarence and Coralena Smith, Romney, WV.

Condition

Jar having two flakes to interior rim; canner with minor chip and some scattered flakes to rim interior.
