WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA STONEWARE OVERSIZED JAR, salt-glazed, designated twenty-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with slight shoulder, flat-top rounded rim, beaded neck ring, applied arched handles, brown-glazed interior. Brushed cobalt "20" to shoulder. Circa 1875. 25 1/4" H, 14" D rim.
