ADELE WILLIAMS (VIRGINIA, 1868-1952) LANDSCAPE, watercolor on paper, a vernal depiction of a blossoming orchard in the Impressionist style, signed lower left. Housed under glass in an old frame. Circa 1930. 17" x 15" sight, 26" x 23" OA.
Catalogue Note: A life-long resident of Richmond, Virginia, Adele Williams (1868-1952) studied with Charles Hawthorne (1872-1930) and William Merritt Chase (1849-1916). She exhibited frequently in her lifetime, and her work is represented at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture and the University of Virginia.

Condition

Excellent overall visual condition. Frame with very minor wear. Not examined out of frame.
