ANTIQUE BACCARAT DOUBLE-OVERLAY MUSHROOM MILLEFIORI ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT, cobalt blue to opaque white to colorless, cut-faceted with a circular top window, six side punty cuts and arched basal flute cuts, interior close-pack mushroom composition featuring a variety of canes in various color combinations, including quatrefoil, trefoil, arrowhead, and stardust canes with red interiors, rayed to the underside. The Compagnie des Verreries et Cristalleries de Baccarat. 1845-1855. 2 1/8" H, 3 1/4" DOA.

Catalogue Note: Dunlop states the following: "Overlay paperweights are rare from Baccarat. Those with a mushroom motif are very rare."
