BRITISH SPATTERWARE CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising three blue-sponged examples including a hexagonal jug/pitcher, a children's cup, and a shell-form dish with transfer-printed Chinoiserie scene depicting three figures in a boat feeding a goose, a cup and saucer with red and blue stick sponge star decorations, and a 10 1/2" D soup plate having alternating blue- and green-sponged decorations with a green star to center. 19th century. 7 5/8" HOA.
Star saucer undamaged, cup having a minor very faint rim hairline; shell dish mostly undamaged, except having two minor flakes to foot ring; child's cup with rim hairline; pitcher having a radial hairline to base with one arm partially extending up side and two minor hairline to between neck/shoulder; soup plate having a rim crack and some scattered flakes/chip to underside.
