G. / 1833." having a checkered frame, interior lid with embroidered basket of flowers on silk gauze, interior lined with linen fabric. Together with a letter by Betty Ring from June 29, 1991 in which she talks about the box at the beginning, an excerpt reads, "...I was very pleased to see the polaroids of your 'little trinket' and much appreciate your sending them. It is an adorable thing. As I am certain you have surely found out by now, an Anna Garrett from Philadelphia was enrolled at Westtown in June 1828, but I suspect yours was more likely the Anna Garrett enrolled in April 1833 and she was from Wilmington, Del."
