CUT OVERLAY OVAL AND PUNTY KEROSENE STAND LAMP, opaque white to colorless pyriform font, a medial band of cut and engraved foliage decoration between a single row of punties and a lower row of ovals, opaque white double-step foot, No. 2 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 2 Collins slip burner, colorless and frosted globular-form shade with engraved floral decoration to the medial, and a colorless slip chimney. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1860-1870. 18 1/4" H to top of shade, 11 1/2" H to top of collar, 4 5/8" SQ base. Shade 5 7/8" H, 4 1/8" D fitter.

Very good condition, font undamaged, two foot corners with significant chips/losses, remaining corners and foot edge with flakes/roughness, light annealing line off of top of stem. Burner and chimney undamaged, shade fitter with minute flakes/roughness.
