ENGLISH FREE-BLOWN BLACK GLASS CYLINDRICAL UTILITY BOTTLES, LOT OF THREE, dark olive-green/black, squat cylindrical forms with medium to short necks and various applied lip treatments, kicked-up bases with sand or disk pontil scars. Late 18th/early 19th century. 8 1/2" HOA.

Condition

Very good to excellent condition overall, mostly undamaged or with very minor nicking to lip; mid-sized example with a short crack inside neck stemming from an open bubble on neck interior, potentially as made. Shortest and tallest having been excavated and showing moderate and heavily patinated surfaces with moderate to heavy etching and wear/degradation, and rainbow discoloration especially to taller. Shortest with many surfaced open bubbles.
