ENGLISH STERLING AND OTHER FOREIGN SILVER FLATWARE, LOT OF 18, English sterling silver pieces by London makers comprising a set of five place forks by William Theobalds and Robert Metcalfe Atkinson with 1840 date marks having engraved spread-wing birds to backs, a set of three teaspoons by George Wintle with 1826 date marks, and a teaspoon by Elizabeth Eaton with 1851 date mark; also featuring an early 19th century Irish sterling teaspoon by Elizabeth Bainbridge of Dublin, a Russian vermeil 0.875 silver spoon by a St. Petersburg maker having assayer mark for Aleksandr Ilyich Yashinkov (active 1795-1826), a German 0.812 silver tablespoon by M.J. Ruckert of Mainz, two pairs of Mexican teaspoons with one pair marked "MAR / TINES" and "STON" and the other pair marked "A. BARIC" and "CAMACHO", an unidentified teaspoon with impressed "S" mark to back, and an unmarked tablespoon. Most pieces marked, Mexican teaspoon, unidentified teaspoon, and unmarked tablespoon of unknown silver fineness. Total weight: 23.780 ozt. Late 18th/19th century, unidentified teaspoon and unmarked tablespoon possibly earlier. 5 1/4" to 8 1/2" LOA.

Fair to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, bending, dents, and/or worn bowl tips; unmarked tablespoon with major repair to handle; one or a few with possible repairs including unidentified teaspoon.
