ENGLISH WEDGWOOD MAJOLICA HAND-PAINTED BOLTED CENTERPIECE / COMPOTE, having an ovoid reticulated top with ivy and berry decoration, and stand depicting two topless maidens with two fauns, one playing the pipes, resting on a base with two Greek key feet. Impressed "WEDGWOOD" to underside. Josiah Wedgwood & Sons, Etruria, England. Circa 1872. 14 1/8" HOA, top 13 3/4" x 9 3/8".
