FRENCH PORCELAIN SEVRES CHATEAU DE VERSAILLES CABINET PLATE, featuring polychrome hand-painted scene depicting an older couple sitting at a table, the man reading a letter, having rich turquoise border with three floral bouquet cartouches and gilt decorations, signed "D. Ciniers". Marks to underside include blue-printed crown with "SEVRES" and "1844", red-printed "CHATEAU / DES / TUILERIES", and green-printed crown "SV" and "40". Circa 1844. 9 5/8" D.
