FREE-BLOWN AND ENGRAVED APOTHECARY SHOW GLOBE / GLASS JAR, colorless, blown in two sections, each section having a baluster-form body shape with applied neck rings, engraved with trailing/spiraling vine motifs and floral devices, smaller section with matching engraved stopper, larger raised on a solid stem and round foot with rough pontil mark to underside. Fourth quarter 19th century. 33 1/2" HOA.
Condition
Undamaged with very minor routine wear.
Collection of the late Al and Billy Steidel, Alexandria, VA.
