LYNCHBURG AND SALEM, VIRGINIA COIN SILVER SPOONS, LOT OF THREE, each with fiddle handle, comprising a teaspoon and a small teaspoon by Williams & Victor, the partnership between Jehu Williams, Sr. and John Victor of Lynchburg, VA (active 1813-1845), and a tablespoon by John Withers of Salem, VA (active 1815-1869). Each with maker's mark. Total weight: 2.135 ozt. First half/mid 19th century. 4 7/8" to 8 1/8" LOA.
Provenance: Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.

Fair to good overall condition with wear, surface scratches, residue/surface losses due to removed accession numbers, and other imperfections including bending, dents, nicks, and/or worn bowl tips; larger teaspoon with possible repair to bowl at terminal of handle.
