MASSACHUSETTS / VIRGINIA / MARYLAND COIN SILVER SUGAR TONGS, having fiddle handles with pointed shoulders and ovoid grips, engraved "B" initial to end. Impressed twice with "N [pellet] MUNROE" mark, probably a retailer's mark, in a serrated rectangular cartouche for Nathaniel Munroe of Concord, MA (active 1791-1817), Norfolk, VA (active 1805-1806), and Baltimore, MD (active 1811-1837). Total weight: 1.370 ozt. First quarter 19th century. 6" LOA.
