MECKLENBURG CO., VIRGINIA COPPER MOONSHINE STILL, three-piece construction, base joined with large rivets, nonfunctional. Fine old verdigris surface. 19th century. Still approx. 42" HOA, approx. 31" D body, approx. 40" DOA with lower spout; coil 17" H.
Catalogue Note: According to Simmons family history the damage caused to the base pot was done “by the law”, during a raid.
